Shop Hop Wrap Up

Today the 10 quilt shops in the Prairie Stars Shop Hop gathered in Leoti at our shop to wrap up loose ends from the shop hop held on September 10, 11 & 12, including drawing for the grand prize winners. Congratulations goes to Gladys James of Hugoton, winner of the ten $100 gift certificates (one from each shop), and to Wynn Cockrum of Johnson, winner of the 100 fat quarters!

Congratulations also goes to the winners of our drawings at Prairie Flower Quilt Co. Pat Salter of Syracuse, Sherry Farmer of Elkhart, Kay Murray of Hugoton, Wynn Cockrum of Johnson, and Bonnie Lusk of Springfield each have a goodie bag of gifts on its way to them.

Plans - and changes - are already underway for the 2010 Prairie Stars Shop Hop. Two big changes were made today. Next year the shop hop is expanding to 10 days ( Now you'll have more time to visit each shop and leisurely enjoy the experience) and the shop hop is moving from fall to spring! Dates for the 2010 shop hop are April 8th - 17th, so mark your calendar and make plans to attend.

Prairie Flower Quilt Co., along with Red Rooster Quilt Shop in Lakin and Quilter's Stash in Syracuse, are in charge of selecting three candidates for the shop hop quilt. Just in time for winter!

Cambridge Flannel by Windham Fabrics, a beautiful group of floral, paisley and coordinated prints, arrived today. This flannel collection is so soft and rich. Pair it with our chenille fabrics to make a warm and cuddly quilt for winter!

Maisy & More

One of the most beloved characters in preschool households today, the good-natured Maisy stars in storybooks, three-dimensional playsets - and now fabric! Maisy also has her own popular TV show that appears on Noggin seven days a week.....and now Maisy is at Prairie Flower Quilt Co. If you have little ones on your quilt giving list, this fun line of fabric will make any child squeal with delight!Maisy isn't the only new collection to arrive at the shop. Eva and Hushabye, both by Moda, are also new. Several more lines are scheduled to arrive any day, so stop in and see what's new!
