Finally Finished!

Our Leoti Indians travel quilt and pattern are finally complete! Although the quilt is fun, it's the quilting that is a showstopper. We had special machine quilting patterns designed especially for this quilt. Stop by the shop and see both the quilt and coordinating pillow.

The quilting designs include a 'Go WCHS' sports edge 2 edge, an Indian head, and 'Leoti Indians' patterns.

Buck A Block

Our Buck A Block program is off to a great start! The program, which started in October, features three colorways - black & white, harvest & 30's. Each colorway is hanging in the shop for you to select your favorite version (yes, you can still join!). Here's our completed 30's quilt. Don't you just love the way Janet finished it off with prairie points!

Cozy As A Quilt Chili

A couple of weeks ago, Prairie Flower Quilt Co. cooked up a pot of chili and entered the community's annual chili cookoff. Although we didn't win, it was a fun evening.

The latest fabric collection to arrive at the shop is Old Primrose Inn by Blackbird Designs from Moda. This beautiful collection is reminiscent of an old English garden - perfect for a quilt for the girl who likes the shabby chic cottage look.

Prairie Flower Quilt Co. is pleased to announce their newest program - Thimbleberries 2010 Quilt Club featuring the Village Green Block of the Month! This beautiful quilt comes in three colorways - Dawn (light), Dusk (medium), and Midnight (dark) - and features ten houses tucked in among stars, flowers, trees and fences.When you join our Thimbleberries Club, you will receive all the fabric needed to complete the quilt top and binding. You will also receive a monthly accessory project pattern. Members will receive 20% off all their Thimbleberries fabric purchases during 2010 that can be used for the accessory patterns, queen quilt variation, backing, etc.

Membership is $25, plus $17 for each month's block. Pay for the entire year up front and get your membership for free - a 10% savings! Classes will be held on the 3rd Saturdays of the month starting in January with sewing, carry in lunch, prizes, and lots and lots of fun!
